BNP organiser and European Election candidate Tony North is a parent governor at Furzeham Primary School in Brixham, Devon. Contary to local media reports (see below) the fact is that not a single parent voted for him to become a governor as his was the only name in the hat and he was appointed without an election. As parents, were denied the right to have our say. I'm now inviting you to have yours by contacting the Headteacher.

Israel's unjustified destruction of thousands of Palestinian and Arab Israeli homes as well as vast areas of agricultural land has reached an unprecedented level and must stop immediately, Amnesty International said today. Over the last three and a half years, Israeli armed forces have demolished more than 3,000 homes, leaving tens of thousands of men, women and children homeless or without a livelihood.

In a stunning ruling, Joint General Secretary Roger Lyons has been forced to stand down with immediate effect, following a complaint by a member of amicus. The enforcement order was issued today by the independent Trade Union Certification Officer (CO), who included Lyons' Private and Confidential contract in his judgement.
